👋🏽 Introduction

Hello, Danni again,

August has been a month of progress and learning. We’ve had meaningful conversations, picked up new skills, and celebrated everyday wins that remind us why this work is so important.

From sharing our story on a podcast, to mothers laughing together while sewing doormats, to their first introduction to Bitcoin mining — each week offered something unique and memorable. With new merchants joining the network and POS machines making payments easier, the Bitcoin Babies circular economy is growing stronger and more connected.

Here’s a look back at the moments that shaped August.

📆 Program Highlights

➡️ 1. Different courses in the past month

Every course offers the moms tools to grow financially, personally, and as a community. Month by month, they’re building skills that actually make a difference.

Here’s what they got into:

➡️ Week 1: Sewing Doormats (and Friendships)

The month began with a project that was as surprising as it was rewarding: sewing doormats. The moms took turns sewing — each spending three days on the work before passing it on to the next. This simple exercise became a lesson in patience, collaboration, and skill-building.

➡️ Week 2: Motherhood Meets Books The second week felt special for a simple reason — after two years of work, the Bitcoin Babies book was finally printed, and we held the very first physical copy in our hands. The book is an integral part of this project and will serve as a tool for moms here and for mothers around the world. Introducing it to the group sparked conversations about daily life, motherhood, and the journey we’re on together. And this is just the beginning — stay tuned for more to come about the book.

➡️ Week 3: Cracking the Code on Bitcoin Mining In the third week, we had a guest: **Felix Mukungu** of The Core. He broke down Bitcoin mining in a way that was clear and engaging. Step by step, he explained how blocks are created, why miners are needed, and how it all connects back to financial freedom. It was eye-opening for most of the moms. They learned that Bitcoin wasn’t about some “magic internet money” - it had a story, an engine, and a logic that they could connect to.
